Through pencil marks & brush strokes,
one's true self emerges.

An illustrator professionally creating for over 15 years for other brands. Now learning to step out from behind the corporate veil, putting pencil to paper, and allowing myself to stand in the spotlight. Allowing me, the individual, the dinosaur aficionado, the cinephile, the gamer, the ghost hunter, the hopeless romantic, the daydreamer... the artist; be seen by the world.

I create to explore what sparks curiosity & wonder. Inspired by the stories & experiences that shape us. Creating work that invites you to slow down, look closer & rediscover a sense of wonder once forgotten.

The process

Every question starts with a pencil & paper.

Each piece begins with a question or a curiosity — not a plan. The art is the answer. Work starts as a hand sketch in a notebook, moves to ink, and may stay on paper or move to a digital drawing tablet or screen. But it's always drawn by hand.

The hand leaves traces — the wobble, the pressure, the bleed. That's where the work becomes honest. Nothing is smoothed over. Digital mediums are part of the process too, but everything is anchored in traditional physical mediums.

  • Drawn by hand, every time
  • Pencil, ink, paper — and digital, too
  • Curiosity-led, not plan-led

The journey

What does it mean to be seen?

There's an ongoing internal process in letting yourself be seen. For years, I created inside a corporate brand — hiding behind a screen, behind a brief, behind someone else's vision. The work was good. But it wasn't mine.

Being seen means letting the imperfect lines show. Drawing what you're curious about instead of what you think will sell. Signing your own name on something and meaning it. It's terrifying.

But the fear and the freedom live in the same stroke. The studio is the record of that ongoing process — every piece a small act of stepping forward.

Support the Journey

Art doesn't happen in a vacuum.

Every piece started with a question, a pencil, and a little courage. If this resonates with you, there are ways to help it continue. Elsewheres is the deepest way in — a monthly envelope of art, stories, and stickers. But support comes in many forms, and every one matters.
